What I don’t understand is why they are building multi-million dollar houses right into the ocean or right on the beach as well why owning multiple Hummers and SUV’s. None of them are generating power for their homes through alternative sources. Surely, if one can build a multi-million dollar house, one can afford a generator and/or wind and solar power so the community at large doesn’t have to support it.

They are quick to blame the government, but cannot see that they might be part of the problem.
