		<description><![CDATA[In 1952, The democrats nominated Adlai Stevenson II, with John Sparkman as his running mate. This was the second time the the President and Vice President had last names starting with the same letter. In 1856, James Buchanan and John Breckinridge ran together. One of these combinations won, the other lost. We will know in November how Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan do.
