		<description><![CDATA[I think that it&#039;s the same sort of thing that we saw up here with Tim Ball palming himself off as a climatologist despite a real paucity of publications in the field on his part. 
A sad reliance upon credentialism. But when you&#039;ve got nothing else...
My first postgraduate degree was in ecology, and I&#039;ve a number of peer-reviewed publications concerned with the ecology of various reptile and amphibian species. I still wouldn&#039;t call myself an ecologist, but I&#039;d have far more justification for doing so than this fellow. Can&#039;t tell you how annoying I find this sort of thing.
