Surely we’ve found everything by now

Well, no, we haven’t.  Nice little post by a photographer urging people to go look to see what they can find, with a brilliantly concise set of arguments about big things discovered just in the past few years.

Nice photos, too — go see.

Ellie, maybe your friend should enter some of her photographs in contests.

Neat photos. Thanks, Ed. And, I’ve just sent a link to a friend of mine whose twelve year old daughter takes some of the best nature photos I’ve ever seen. I’m thinking she’ll like that site.

The Bathtub had notes on two of the “newly-discovered” falls in South America — I know, you were too busy to visit.

Thanks for dropping by when you can.

I liked it better when nice accessible Yosemite Falls was still the tallest in the world according to most books, though in fact we knew about Angel Falls — where No White Man had ever set foot yet.

The new list is amazing. Why had I not heard heard about the new 400-footer? Bah.
